Jay and an A+ Day!

Jay and his family took their annual trek to Lake Wallenpaupack for a getaway on this legendary body of water with Legends Outdoors.  They were primed for weeks to get to this Wayne County gem and started the day off with a bang by going right for the gusto with live bait for the big ones.  The gamble paid off early on as the rod buckled with the no nonsense strike from a striped bass.  The battle then ensued for quite a while before the monster of the deep was landed for a group photo.  With no other takers and the morning wearing on, the quartet switched to Keitech Baits and had at it.  They mulled around the lake with a light breeze and the uncharacteristic sunshine as it has been rainy for many days prior with heavy downpours at times.  With the hay maker high in the sky, the ice-cold beverages went down smoothly and the sandwiches and snacks tasted even better than if you were to eat them in a different setting.  There was not a shortage of laughter and fun on this day, and they caught a decent number of fish with a really good variety.  This included that striped bass, several pickerel, smallmouth bass, perch, bluegill and rockbass.  An outstanding overall outing!
