Dave's Keitech Concoction

Dave along with his wife Chrissy and son Jaxon ventured north in May for a two-day outing with Legends Outdoors.  Dave and Chrissy have been out with Legends Outdoors many a time, but they are introducing Jaxon early on to all that is involved with an outing.  Day one seen a very windy, hot, and sunny day as this family trio headed out on the pontoon boat.  It didn't take long for the fish to start coming into the boat as light line, notably 4# test and a variety of Keitech Baits were on the menu for dozens of panfish on this day including crappie, bluegills, sunfish, and perch.  There were also a few game fish caught in the way of pickerel and smallmouth bass mixed in during the outing.  Jaxon watched and learned as mom and dad were haulin' them in during the day with precise casting.  They enjoyed some snacks out on the boat and had a great time and took a nice mess of panfish for Dave to cook up as he is an outstanding chef and has dozens and dozens of tasty recipes for a variety of fish, meat, pasta, vegetables, sauces, etc.  He has been very generous in bringing the Legends Outdoors Staff some specialty items for us to enjoy and we really appreciate that as a whole and recognize the talent he has at his craft.  Day two would be again another very windy day as they headed out on a bass boat for some more fishing.  Dave fished solo on this one, although Chrissy and Jaxon came out with Dave to enjoy the day and absorb the sights and sounds of spring in Northeast Pennsylvania.  Once again a careful blend of Keitech and light line would prove to be a game changer as the action was fast and furious basically the entire time of fishing.  Crappie, pickerel, bluegill, perch and a largemouth bass were all caught by Dave on this day and the total numbers easily eclipsed the 60 fish mark as he hauled in 30 pickerel in itself and a bunch of crappie and the mix of other fish to really spike the numbers.  It was just an incredible day for action and they got to see up close a bald eagle in a tree that is zoomed in on one of the photos below to show you a close up of the picture next to it and how amazing it is to see the symbol of America in nature several yards from the boat.  The family once again had a great time and Dave was able to get some more fillets from the day as the compilation of the two days was off the charts with action, variety of fish, and fun!  We at Legends Outdoors look forward to seeing Dave and his family back later in the year for another adventure.
