Joe who is a year round resident on Lake Wallenpaupack had previously gone out with Legends Outdoors for a spring time outing in the post spawn phase of the season for most of the bass. He was ailing for some more action close to home, so this time around he brought along his neighbor Jeff for an end of summer adventure. With the water being in the mid 60's right as autumn was ready to arrive, these anglers used some topwater and crankbaits and a main course of Keitech Baits to entice their quarry. Their day was windy and overcast with a warm wind as it was mostly a southern direction. They had some snacks during the day and had plenty of action with smallmouth bass being the main species caught on this outing with some really nice ones being landed. After a great time out together, they were dropped off right at their dock at Joe's home for a short walk back to the house to reflect on their day.
