Fall Kickoff
New Jersey residents Christian, Greg, and Rey who have a house on Lake Wallenpaupack in the Walt's Cove area wanted to get out on the lake together for a day recently at the beginning of the fall season. A cold front and wind with overcast skies had blown in making conditions tough to muster up bites. They wanted to learn much more about the lake and the behavior of the seasonal patterns with the fish that reside here for future reference. They had a great time fishing about the lake, asking questions, and covering lots of water with spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, and chatterbaits in pursuit of strikes. They caught several bass of the smallmouth and largemouth variety, a pickerel, and a few rockbass while enjoying the camaraderie of each other and making memories on this scenic body of water.
