Mark is a returning client many times over throughout the years and started off 2018 with an April trip that was frigid and unforgiving. With air temps hovering around 20 degrees early on and ice on the rod tips for many hours during the day, this avid angler braved the conditions on Lake Wallenpaupack and fished through it. The snow flurries and numb fingers didn't stop Mark from having a spectacular day on this solo mission as he used light line and Keitech Baits to hammer out 50 perch early on as the fish were biting and biting often. He took a few home for harvesting and released the rest. It didn't stop there though as he was able to back that up with two hefty smallmouth bass and a well sought after striped bass that gave a tremendous battle that weighed in at over 13 1/2 pounds on the scale. No wonder Mark is all smiles on the photos as this was a day for the ages! We at Legends Outdoors look forward to seeing Mark back again later this year for some more on-the-water adventures.
