Martin's Good "Four"tune

Martin recently went out on a Saturday solo mission with Legends Outdoors in search of striped bass.  An early start before dawn on a chilly and variably overcast September morning can test an anglers mettle, but Martin was game for any conditions as he kept his eye on the prize.   A few hours ticked away before his first solid hookup, but it was worth the wait as a 9# beauty was battled and brought aboard.  A bit later, after some photos were taken and Martin shook off the chill of the day, another big fish was hooked.  This time a feisty giant channel catfish was on the end of the line as the drag sang for quite some time before an 18#er was brought into the net.  The day was going well for Martin and it got even better as the next time he reared back it would be a hefty smallmouth bass in the 4# class that tested the tackle before being landed.  At that the day would have been outstanding, but it would be topped off at about noon when another striper hammered the offering and yet another arm wrenching tug of war took place before an 11# striped bass was caught to give Martin four really nice fish for the day.  A great day for Martin and we look forward to seeing him again in the near future.
