John came north to fish Lake Wallenpaupack in 2016 for his
bachelor party and had so much fun, that he and his brother Mark decided to
make another trip to this historic Wayne County lake in 2017. After
arriving the night before and getting a good meal and some rest before their
day out, these two anglers got up early and were ready to tackle the
lake. An overcast day with a passing shower and little to no wind was the
setting for this May outing. They traversed several areas and fished with
great enthusiasm while sharing stories and absorbing the scenery and nature
that is abundant about the lake. John and Mark had quite a bit of action
as they caught several smallmouth bass during their day along with a spattering
of pickerel, rockbass, longear sunfish and perch. It was another total
experience for these two brothers at the Pack and we hope to see them for many
years to come.
