Pittsburgh Pennsylvania resident Wade is no stranger to
fishing and has caught many a fish, but had a mission to catch his first
striped bass. He called up Legends Outdoors and headed east for a Pocono
Area vacation and some night time angling. The weather was cool, but
warmer than expected on this May night as the alewives were starting to spawn
in the 62 degree water. Wade casted and casted with anticipation as the
sunlightless journey seen many walleyes and stripers hammering the pods of bait
bringing great hope with each pitch of the lure. Wade encountered exactly
what he hoped and more as he caught three stripers, three walleyes, and a few
smallmouth bass mixed in on his trip. Wade had a great time out fishing
and an overall awesome vacation to the Lake Wallenpaupack area.
