Julian and Jason's Jerkbait Journey

Julian has fished Lake Wallenpaupack many times and wanted to go with his friend and co-worker Jason to do some early May fishing with Legends Outdoors on this scenic Wayne County lake.  They got out early on a cool and crisp morning and went for the elusive striped bass for a while without success, but hung with it in anticipation of that hopeful strike.  The foggy and chilly start gave way to bright blue skies and warming temperatures as these two focused on learning and developing a jerkbait pattern to entice several smallmouth bass and chain pickerel into striking their offerings.  It was a beautiful spring day to be outdoors and see the blooming trees and flowers along with the variety of wildlife including a black bear, some deer, mink, and a variety of birds and water fowl during the day.
