Ten friends decided to get together for an "outdoor experience" bachelor party weekend that Brian had coordinated. Nine of them from the Queens N.Y. area, Jeff, Brian, Rob, Pete, Paul, Karl, Simmons, Alex, and Dan along with their friend Chris from the state of Texas adventured to the Lake Wallenpaupack area to celebrate this special time in Paul's life. The ice-fishing part of their weekend arrived and they adventured out onto the frozen lake with Legends Outdoors. They were greeted by the Legends Outdoors staff, and an absolute picture perfect day for an outdoor adventure. A morning in the high 20's moving into an afternoon in the low 40's with a sunny and hazy sky accompanied by little to no wind had this group of ten full of life and vigor during the trip. Fresh cooked meats on the grill and some snacks along with tasty beverages between running for flags and jigging the depths kept their bellies full during the trip. Some early perch action on tip-ups and a few fish jigging gave way to a few nice pickerel later on and a pair of northern pike that punctuated their catch on this beautiful day. It was an overall great outdoor experience for this group who got to relish the fresh air and the winter scenes of Northeast Pennsylvania in February, and we at Legends Outdoors would like to wish Paul the very best for he and his future bride.
