President's Day Party

Philadelphia region residents Wayne, Mike, Chris, Alexis, and Chelsey ventured north for a President's Day weekend vacation to the northeast.  This group is no strangers to Legends Outdoors, but are all first timers for the sport of ice-fishing.  They decided that they would give it a whirl and booked a trip on the frozen Pennsylvania lake.  They had an absolute gorgeous day for fishing trip as the temperatures were a very mild array of 40's, a slight breeze out of the north, and a picture perfect blue sky.  They learned the techniques of jigging and how to handle the tip-ups by the staff and were quick learners.  Amidst the jigging, laughter, and running for flags this group of five had some fresh cooked hot dogs and venison sandwiches that hit the spot on an active outdoor adventure.  The action had spurts and lulls throughout the day as they caught a good variety of smallmouth bass, pickerel, bluegills, sunfish, and perch.  A good time was had by all!
