Mark and John were back at it for their annual trip to the finger lakes region for a 2-day trek. Their early May days had very different weather conditions as the first day had strong south winds with overcast skies and a bit of rain. Day two seen a much warmer day with light winds and plenty of sunshine. Day one the fish were much more agressive and were hitting hard baits with ferocious demeanor. Day two the fish were much more apprehensive as John and Mark used more plastics to entice strikes from the fish. One of the main goals was to catch a tiger musky and that would happenon day two. They caught over 50 fish total in the two days including a really nice tiger musky that weighed in at 8.84#, several largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, and some panfish in the mix. They also had several other follow-ins and a cut-off by musky during the two days. They enjoyed hoagies, pizza, snacks, iced tea and plenty of great conversations during the trip. Another all around great adventure for Mark and John and we at Legends Outdoors look forward to seeing them again for their next adventure.
