Alex & Rob

Alex and Rob set out on a late April day for a day of fishing with Legends Outdoors.  Alex is a long time client while Rob is a first timer with us.  The mission was to try and get northern pike.  Their day was a cold front morning with frost followed by rapidly warming air temps and blue bird skies.  The two friends used mostly big swim baits in their approach both soft plastic and hard bait alike in trying to entice these toothy predators.  They were all about the lake searching and fishing with several follow-ins and one that smacked the bait, but didn't get the hooks.  They did however catch several nice smallmouth bass, a few largemouth bass, and even a few perch and crappie in the mix during the outing.  Alex brought along some hearty sandwiches for the entire boat and the anglers had a fun day out on this scenic waterway.
