The Right Bites

Tom and his friend Lanier took an early April trip out with Legends Outdoors on scenic Lake Wallenpaupack.  The returning clients had a nice moderate spring day with a mix of sun and clouds and very little wind.  They tried some power fishing without any success for a bit, but switching to finesse tactics proved to be a very good move for the avid anglers.  The light line and Keitech Baits would provide about a dozen bites between them.  The bites would be "the right kind" of bites as they caught two nice crappies that were harvested, a big walleye that was released, and a few solid smallmouth bass that posed for photos before also being released back into the mid 40's water.  What a day it was for these two friends as they had all around great conversation during the day, some cigars, and tasty snacks to round out this good day of spring fishing.  We look forward to seeing them back later in the year when they return for another outdoor adventure.
