Big Bass and Bountiful Bugs

Roberto, Brogan and Aiden were back at Lake Wallenpaupack for their annual spring trek in mid-April.  Their modus operandi is to power fish with hard baits and that is just what they did the entire time.  There was a very unusual heat wave that had come through and the sun was bright all day long.  In fact there was barely a breeze and a huge quantity of bugs were hatching and all over the place during the adventure.  They hit it this legendary body of water during the pre-spawn and didn't get a big number of bites, but the bites they did get were of very nice quality of smallmouth bass.  They had some cold beverages to quench their thirst during the outing as they worked about the lake with a feverish tempo.  A good time was had by all and we look forward to seeing this trio back again next spring for their annual outing.
