March Madness on a Different Playing Field

During the time of year when college basketball takes center stage, Legends Outdoors is ramping up their spring season on the open waters of Pennsylvania.  Legends Outdoors regular in Dennis brought along his high school friend in Vince for some "March Madness" of their own.  These two long-time friends enjoying hunting and fishing together as they truly love the outdoors.  The day was a tad bit on the raw side, but the wind was light and variable.  The water was in the low 40's as this pair probed the depths with Keitech Baits.  The men caught fish in every spot they went during the outing.  Vince who is an avid fly fisherman hooked into and carefully fought out two big walleyes that he worked diligently into the net.  They would be the two biggest of his fishing career in 24" and 26 1/2" long.  Dennis also brought along a tasty lunch for the boat as he typically does.  It would be tuna hoagies from a local deli and cupcakes for dessert.  During their full day on the water they caught a decent amount of fish consisting of six species including those walleyes, smallmouth bass, perch, crappie, fall fish, and a largemouth bass.  It was an all around great day on the water for this duo and we look forward to seeing Dennis and Vince back again in the near future.
