Another Journey for Jim and JT

Jim is a Legends Outdoors regular and gets out with us quite often.  He brings along a myriad of people to go out on excursions and quite often the guest is brother-in-law JT.  Jim has a few bodies of water that he really adores, but JT had not visited this New York lake before this adventure.  The overcast and calm morning with a light sprinkle in the air was a perfect setting for this duo as they headed out on the lake.  The heavy rains recently had the water levels extremely high and they came down a bit, but the lake was still well up as far as water levels. It didn't take long for JT who was wearing his signature Polo Ralph Lauren Hat and Jim to get rolling with action as Keitech Baits and a variety of hard baits were used to entice these springtime fish.  The fish were very spotty as they held good numbers in certain areas and other areas were scarce, but finding those key areas they did as they caught some really nice crappie, smallmouth bass, a good sized pickerel and several other panfish mixed into the day.  The grey skies and coolness of the morning cleared and blue skies would eventually shine overhead for these NJ residents as they enjoyed the beautiful spring day.  There were plenty of stories shared by the pair, and they brought along their traditional Wawa Hoagies and other tasty snacks for nourishment. Jim was very glad he brought JT along to spend the day with him and enjoy some fishing on one of his favorite lakes.
