The Boys from Brooklyn

Andrew and his son George took a trip out recently with Wallenpaupack fishing guide Legends Outdoors on an early April day.  Their adventure would be an afternoon one on the Wayne County lake.  They were in from Brooklyn, N.Y. staying nearby and were eager to get out and enjoy the outdoors and go fishing together.  The father and son combo faced the waning days of a long cold front that moved in just before Easter.  The skies were blue without a cloud to be seen with low and extremely clear water making conditions less than ideal for fishing.  The air temperatures were nice and it was very comfortable for fishing as the wind was light and variable.  The fish were finicky and mustering up bites was quite a challenge, but the pair of anglers kept at it and mustered up a few smallmouth bass and a northern pike on their outing.  They had a great relaxing trip seeing the scenes of the lake including quite a variety of wild life and indulged in great conversations about baseball and other topics in life.  A great spring day out for this father and son and we at Legends Outdoors look forward to seeing them back again for another outdoor adventure at a later date.
