A Good Day Indeed

It was Mid-July day when Matt his son and friend set out on Lake Wallenpaupack for a day of fishing.  They are returning clients and really like to get on the water whenever they can.  The day would be a bright and sunny one with some white puffy clouds in the sky here and there to break up the canopy of blue overhead.  The day would only see a small chop on the water at any given time and would make for a very comfortable day of fishing. They started out with some topwater and slowly worked into the Keitech phase of the day as the sun rose higher in the sky.   Matt's son known as "The Bassmaster" has a tremendous passion for the sport and is very adept at it as a very young age.  The three of them had an outstanding day of fishing in both size and variety.  They caught some really stout smallmouth bass, pickerel, and largemouth bass while even mixing in a striped bass that is a rarity in the daytime in July and also a few panifish to round out the catches on the day.  There were plenty of bent rods and smiles out on this boat today as they also enjoyed some hoagies, snacks and drinks during the trip.  No doubt we will see Matt and crew back again in 2021 and look forward to hosting them for another outdoor adventure.
