Crappie Quest 2020

No strangers to Legends Outdoors are Wild Bill and his friend Joe, and no strangers are they to fishing for crappie and other panfish.  That is exactly what they did in late May as they set out on a hot and steamy day looking for crappie.  They sliced and diced the water with their 2# and 4# test line attached to  2", 2.5" and 3" Keitech Baits searching for these beautiful fish.  It took them a bit, but when they found them...look out as they finessed them one after another on their light action rods and worked them into the boat.  The hot sun didn't even seem to phase these two long-time friends and anglers as they kept right on at it, only stopping for some snacks and beverages here and there amidst the flurries of action.  They would catch nearly 70 crappie between them and kept 48 that were filleted in the 10" to nearly 15" range.   They also boated a handful of smallmouth and largemouth bass that were mixed in on this day that seen the water hover around 72 degrees.  It was an awesome day for Bill and Joe and we know they will enjoy their fried fish meals and look forward to seeing them back again for another Legends Outdoors Adventure.
