Buds from Baltimore

Andy and Richard, who are friends that grew up in Baltimore and are now living in New York City and Philadelphia respectively were taking a three-day vacation to the Lake Wallenpaupack area to do some fishing and other itinerary. They fished on days one and three of their trip and day one was a dead calm  one with a very chilly morning in the 40's, bluebird sky, sunny day, with barely a cloud to be seen.  The day also started out with a sight to behold as a mature bald eagle was perched in the tree as it gazed out over the water as if it was in a watch tower like a soldier on duty.  It was a slow start as they anglers muddled through a variety of baits to pitch at the fish, but once they zoned in on the pattern, the action heated up quite a bit.  Keitech Baits would once again be the bait that caught almost all the fish as Andy and Richard caught smallmouth bass, pickerel, and sunfish on this beautiful day.  They enjoyed a variety of foods they brought along and some beverages and had some great conversations about their times together down in Maryland and their exploits and journeys out of the USA.  Their second outing was aboard the Legends Outdoors Pontoon Boat.  This day would be much warmer, but also sunny and had a bit more of a breeze.  The morning started off slow, but once again picked up as it wore on as they once again sprayed around Keitech Baits with light line tactics.  The smallmouth bass and pickerel were the species of commitment to their presentations on this 2nd day out of their trip.  Andy and Richard enjoyed some hearty snacks and beverages once again on this day as they joked and laughed quite a bit as usual when they are together. These life-long friends had a great trip to the Poconos and enjoyed their time out on scenic Lake Wallenpaupack and showed great enthusiasm about a return trip.
