Luke's Behemoth Bronzeback

Local resident Scotty along with his son Luke were out for a late August adventure with Legends Outdoors.  Scotty has a detailing business that keeps him very busy and Luke is very active in sports and other activities. Luke has only been out fishing a handful of times and wanted to get more involved and learn more about the sport so here they were on Lake Wallenpaupack giving it a go.  They had overcast skies, light wind, and a very comfortable temperature day.  They moved about the Wayne County lake in the bass boat while Luke asked many questions about the electronics and other facets of the boat itself, constantly learning as the day progressed.  The anglers were armed with Keitech Baits and used light line tactics to take aim at the fish that swam beneath the green tinted surface.  Luke caught on very quickly and it wasn't long before both anglers were catching several fish.  They caught a decent mess of perch and bluegill that were cleaned and eventually cooked up for a meal for this duo at a later date.  They also caught several nice smallmouth bass including one of the, if not the biggest smallmouth bass caught all year with our services. Luke battled this giant bronzeback back and forth for some time and eventually landed it for a photo before returning it to the lake.  They had some beverages and snacks during the outing today, and a great time together on their maiden voyage to Lake Wallenpaupack. We hope to see Scotty and Luke again someday back again with Legends Outdoors for yet another adventure.
