A Learning Experience

Steve and his father Steve came back to Lake Wallenpaupack for a double dip in Mid-September.  On day number one they were aboard the Legends Outdoors Pontoon Boat and went out for striped bass early on, but the wind was vicious and hampered the anglers and the boat positioning.  They had zero strikes in that aspect and went scouring in shallower with Keitech Baits and picked up smallmouth bass here and there.  Day number two was much calmer and had an overcast sky as they decided to use the bass boat for more maneuverability.  They started out fishing some spinnerbaits and crankbaits without any success so they scrapped that deal and went to the next plan as they wanted to learn much more about deep water techniques and precision presentations.  They proceeded to scoot about the lake from spot to spot hitting spot after spot picking and pecking away at the deep haunts of Lake Wallenpaupack.  The results were good as they learned much more about the deep bite and caught smallmouth bass in doing so.  Steve and Steve, as usual had a fun time and gained knowledge which is all a part of the total outdoor experience on a Legends Outdoors Outing.
