Several years ago, John
came on a fishing trip with his brother Mark for his bachelor party at Lake
Wallenpaupack. It was such a hit for these two anglers that they decided
to make it a June tradition and once again in 2019 made it so. The skies
were clear and the winds were very low as the chilly morning quickly turned
into a warm day as was prevalent by the increased pleasure water craft.
They traveled to their first spot with one of them throwing topwater, but
that bite was paltry as the fish just didn't want that presentation. The
both men were then firing Keitech Baits and the pattern was quickly
determined. The action would turn out to be excellent on the outing for
Mark and John as they caught a hefty largemouth bass, several smallmouth bass,
panfish of several sorts including some real nice perch, bluegill, slab
rockbass, and many of the longear sunfish were also caught. They brought
some snacks and included in that was Pop Tarts which is a traditional snack for
this June trip. There was a twist to this outing as John was also picking
up a black Chevy Camaro that he has been wanting for years that he purchased in
the area. We were glad to have Mark and John back again for another
annual adventure, and we wish John the best with his new toy!
