Seizing the Moment

Bill along with his son Joe and Joe's girlfriend Claire went out for an August outing on Lake Wallenpaupack.  This trio donned in black, currently residing in southern PA took the trip north on a calm morning when they took advantage of the window of an excellent early morning bite.  They got off to a quick start with topwater and Keitech Baits landing several smallmouth bass and a couple rockbass while the coolness and morning overcast skies still loomed over the lake.  Claire is currently going to college in California and will continue her studies out there, but while on summer vacation sure enjoyed getting an education in fishing on Lake Wallenpaupack.  The bite slowed down during the day as the sun broke through and boat traffic increased, but they picked away at a few here and a few there adding a pickerel and a few more smallmouth bass to their total.  They had a great time on their outing, were all smiles, and truly enjoyed the entire outdoor experience.
