Contrasting Conditions Challenge

Legends Outdoors fanatics, Alex and Joe from Long Island, N.Y. were back at it again for a triple header in early August.  A catfish excursion on the Susquehanna River with heavy rains and rising muddy water kicked it off.  The elements didn't deter these two hard core anglers one bit as they fished through the rain and storms in quest for river cats.  The action was fast and furious as the catfish were in a feeding frenzy and they battled many quality river dwellers and boated in the 20's as their afternoon was a memorable one to say the least.  The next two days would be in some big waters of New York State as they fished the clear pristine waters in search of slammer smallmouth bass.  The contrast of water color and weather conditions was off the charts as the hot, sunny and calm conditions made keeping cool and hydrated just as much of a challenge as catching smallmouths.  The action was spotty, but the size was there as they caught some really nice ones and got to experience of fishing a new body of water for their archives while having some really nice battles from the bronzebacks to talk about for many years to come. They enjoyed the entire experience and had many laughs, snacks, stromboli, drinks and all around good time soaking in the sights and scenery of their days out with Legends Outdoors.  We look forward to seeing Alex and Joe for when they return for their autumn outing.
