The Power of Believing

Kooch and his father Jack who are returning clients with Legends Outdoors took a pair of trips out in search for some striped bass.  This father and son duo have a place up at Lake Wallenpaupack and try to get out when possible when visiting their home there.  The first time out they were hard core and stuck with the striper program for hour after hour without a hook up.  They never gave up believing that their time would come. They eventually broke away late in the trip and went for smallmouth bass during the post spawn and got some nice smallmouth bass on topwater baits and Keitech Baits to round out that day.  The second time around which was a birthday gift to Kooch from his parents was a blue bird sky day with some chop on the water from a rare east wind and comfortable temperatures.  The second time was a charm as they had seven stripers hooked up with drag squealing battles.  They landed five of the give and take tug-of-wars with three of them being hybrids.  After the striper action slowed down they capped the day off going for some perch and capitalized on that with getting several nice ones for a fish fillet meal.  On both adventures they had some nice beverages and plenty of good conversations to go along with it while fishing.  We at Legends Outdoors would like to wish Kooch a very Happy Birthday and look forward to seeing him and Jack back again for another Legends Outdoors adventure.
