Outing number one was in that stretch of brutal April weather and they were faced with water temperatures around the 40 degree mark with wind and driving snow making the conditions extremely tough as these guys toughed out the day for a handful of bites. The bites they did have resulted in some slammer smallmouth bass and a pickerel rewarding them for their hard core efforts.
Outing number two was a Jim Jr. solo mission pounding for the big bite most of the day and that he did get as he hooked into and battled for quite some time on this windy and choppy day a big striper that weighed just under 16# on the scale. A tough day and tough bite, but Jim fought through it and persevered once again.
Outing number three seen much warmer temperatures as this trio was aboard the pontoon fishing in an all day rain and calm waters. They had a tremendous day with alot of action the entire day and caught a multitude smallmouth bass, rockbass, bluegill, and pickerel.
Outing number four seen an overcast day with calm waters and comfortable temperatures as they bounced about the lake hitting a multitude of spots scoring everywhere they went as they compiled smallmouth bass, rockbass, bluegill, pickerel, crappie, and sunfish during that outing.
The one constant that all four days held was there was plenty of laughs, great conversation, hoagies, coffee and the fish were caught on Keitech Baits. We at Legends Outdoors look forward to seeing Jim, Jim and JT again in the very near future.
