Kook along with his brother Guy went ice-fishing recently with Legends Outdoors on a warm, but very windy day. They brought along fellow EMS employees Mark & Matt who were first timers to the hard water angling. Kook has been out with Legends Outdoors several times before and was pumping up the rest of the crew about the Legends Outdoors experience. A glassy surface made walking with cleats a must as safety is always first on the trips. The anglers jigged and had tip ups set up waiting for flags to pop with the anticipation of a Lake Wallenpaupack surprise. As they jigged up bluegills and perch at a moderate pace, they enjoyed Legends Outdoors special fish chowder then later on it was followed up by jalapeno venison hot dogs. During the day they also were enjoying cold beverages and smoking some cigars in the fresh Wayne County air while having quite a bit of laughs. The day went from cloudy to sunny as the wind was relentless, but these four men kept at it and also hooked into some nice pickerel and one giant that measured in at 26". They hammered out some really nice smallmouth bass as well during the trip that posed for some nice photos. The pickerel will be pickled and the panfish filleted and the bass were all released. We were glad to see Kook again on another adventure and also glad he brought along some companions to share in the success stories he continues to compile.
