Sunglasses & Stripers

Brothers John and Dennis decided to do some fall striped bass fishing on Lake Wallenpaupack, so they dialed up Legends Outdoors and booked a date.  The day arrived and it was another early, pre-dawn start with clear skies and cold temperatures.  The thought of the sun rising and warming the anglers was almost equally on the mind of these two guys as the prospect of what any bite could hold during the outing.  As the blue skies held dominance early on, the anglers had a few strikes without any being brought aboard, but that did not deter them in the least. As the bright, chilly, clear, and calm day starting giving way to some clouds that mimicked scattered about cotton balls, the anglers both would hook up and have exhilarating battles with 11# stripers making for a successful mission. We at Legends Outdoors look forward to seeing John and Dennis again in early spring of 2018!
