Dave and his son David came back again for another trip for stripers in 2017. As an outdoors person, there are few things more breath taking than a beautiful sunrise and this is just what this father and son duo were able to enjoy and cherish right from the get go on this outing. The boat went out from the dock and settled in their area for the morning bite and it it didn't take long for David Jr. to hook up with a giant striper and have a big battle on his hands before working it to the net before weighing it at 17# and taking some photos. His father followed that up with another striper less than a 1/2 hour later to keep the ball rolling. These two men would each hook and battle two more solid striped bass with David Jr. hauling in a 12# fish while his dad landed a hefty 14# slammer of a striper. Later in the day when the sun was up high they wound up caching two hefty smallmouth bass for good measure to put a solid exclamation point on this remarkable day. This father and son duo really enjoyed their extended day out on the water and had an absolute blast pursuing and battling all these nice fish that patrol Lake Wallenpaupack on this gorgeous day.
