Wayne and his children Chelsea and Justin are no strangers to Legends Outdoors as they have fished with us before via open water and also ice-fishing. They traveled north again from the Philadelphia area for another adventure. They were faced with harsh cold front conditions which entailed a stiff north wind, air temperatures in the 40's, and high blue skies. This type of weather usually shuts the fish down, but that didn't deter the anglers as they patrolled the Susquehanna River. At times all aboard were wishing for heavier clothing and a hot chocolate rather than sunscreen and a cold beverage which would usually be the case this time of year. The day would warm though as the sun rose higher in the sky and they fished away along this scenic river using Keitech and TACKLEHD baits to pursue their quarry. They had a solid catch of 45 smallmouth bass and a few other species mixed in during their outing and made the most of some challenging conditions while enjoying a family day out with Legends Outdoors.
