Dividends of Determination

Austin and his young son Roe headed west from Connecticut to Lake Wallenpaupack for Austin’s second trip of 2017.  On Austin's first trip that he made with his brother-in-law, he had a few opportunities with striped bass that didn't have a storybook ending so he came back with a laser focus. This father and son duo had a very early pre dawn arrival and start before dawn broke revealing an overcast to party sunny day.  Just before six in the morning, Austin hooked up and boated a beautiful 10# striper.  Less than an hour later, Roe battled and landed a monster 9# walleye which is an awesome achievement for the young lad. As the day warmed and the sun became more dominant in the sky, a couple hefty smallmouth bass over 3# decided to play and were boated before they got off the water before noon. It was yet another satisfying outdoor family adventure
