Mike along with his son Brandon and his friend Ethan showed up early in the dark to prepare for a striper trip out on Lake Wallenpaupack with Legends Outdoors. Brandon and Ethan are avid baseball players and played on the same team for quite some time and are great friends. Early on this Monday morning this trio had some solid strikes, but didn't hook up as these slick fish eluded the anglers. Then it happened, the sun was high, the skies were blue, and Ethan
started things off right at around 8:00 AM with a beautiful 10# striper after a tough battle with one of these predators of the deep. It was then Brandon’s turn as he combated an 11# striped bass less than two hours later. After their arms got a bit of a rest from their catches, they both picked up a solid smallmouth bass during the rest of the trip to round out the catches. Mike and the boys had a great time and are looking forward to the next trip.
