AJ's Adventure

Mid July was the setting for the father and son duo of Neal and AJ. Neal was really hoping AJ would have a special day out fishing and we at Legends Outdoors were going to do our absolute best to see that happen. The day of the trip came around and these anglers were blessed with a beautiful morning with a great sunrise and a bit of an overcast sky moving to clear as the trip progressed. It didn't take long after the trip started and at about 6:30 AM a really solid striper in the 16# class struck and tore off line and AJ battled him like an old pro and worked the fish to the boat. As soon as all the excitement settled and only about 10 minutes later another striper hit hard and gave AJ another tremendous battle before this youngster landed the 9# class fish. which AJ had a ball with and it kept his hands full almost as much as the larger one. These two awesome encounters kept AJ excited and enthusiastic even more than before the day started and then after the 8:00 AM bell rang he followed it ups with a behemoth walleye and a nice smallmouth bass to cap off the catches. With the weather, the awesome fish catches, and the overall experience of a father and son being out enjoying the day it made for an A+ outing! We look forward to seeing AJ and his father again sometime in the future for another day out on scenic Lake Wallenpaupack.
