Full Moon Fiesta

Tony and his brother-in-law Joe went out for a night journey recently on a July night.  These two local anglers wanted to learn new techniques and try a night trip and were faced with a cool night, but not frigid with mainly clear skies and calm waters.  The full moon that loomed overhead during the outing resembled a shiny coin on a piece of dark construction paper as it created the illusion of a perfect circle that was a constant visitor with them all evening as any clouds did not dare hinder such a brilliant sight. The night wore on and these anglers had some quality hookups and landed some really nice fish including Tony hauling in a 17.91# channel catfish that had beastly strength. They also caught two walleyes and five smallmouth bass.  They learned quite a bit and really enjoyed their time out on Lake Wallenpaupack on their after dark adventure.
