John along with his son Owen and daughter Kieran took a vacation to the Poconos from the NY/NJ region for a long weekend in June. They wanted to try two different bodies of waters in two days on the trip. Day one brought calm waters and a mix of sun and clouds with mild temperatures while day two was bright blue skies and strong winds for the entire day. During the two days the anglers caught and abundance of largemouth bass, pickerel, crappie, perch, and sunfish while throwing wacky rigged soft plastics, Keitech, and grubs to entice the plethora of species that were caught. Absorbing the sights and sounds of nature out on the water and spending time as a family, it was an awesome getaway for this group and many a smile was had by all.
