New Jersey resident Lou along with his brother-in-law Mike and friend Eric wanted to do some ice-fishing, as the opportunity rarely presents itself in the area they live due to usually thin ice. They had previously been on an open water trip with Legends Outdoors so they dialed the number and set a date for January. The day rolled around and so did the fog! It was hard to tell the difference if this trio was fishing on the streets of London or in Wayne County, Pennsylvania. The temperatures were outstanding in the high 30's to mid 40's during the outing with virtually no breeze the entire day and 10 solid inches of ice. The anglers ran for flags and jigged periodically during the day while enjoying the entire outdoor experience. The grill was fired up and venison and hamburgers were cooked as the smell of fresh cooked meats hung around the base camp as stories were exchanged among the party. The sun finally poked out and stayed strong for the afternoon as one by one the anglers built a catch for the day of mostly pickerel, bluegill, perch, and a pair of largemouth bass.
