Steve and Dan Break the Ice

Returning clients Steve and Dan were the first trip out of the ice-fishing season this winter and set out on an overcast morning for some hard water action.  The day seen drizzle and freezing rain aside from the lack of sun, but it didn't dampen their spirits at all as these two fished fervently on the frozen lake.  Between all their action they were treated to some venison back straps grilled out in the open air to tantalize their taste buds as they often ran for flags and jigging action.  This duo caught over 15 smallmouth bass, a pickerel and a few panfish sprinkled in on this day. Great start to the frozen water season!
