New Jersey resident Mike who is a long time client with Legends Outdoors wanted to sneak one last trip in before the frigid weather arrived and the ice covered the waters. He booked a date and made the trip, and it was well worth it for sure. Mike faced blue skies with barely a cloud in site to distort the azure ceiling that allowed the sun to beat down on the cool water and warm it during the day. He was able to fish light line tactics very effectively all day as barely a breeze moved across the autumn waters throughout the outing. The bites were coming quite often as Mike hauled in fish after fish during the day en route to landing a limit of both crappie and smallmouth bass. What a great way for Mike to end his open water season with such a special outing.
