Wild Bill Goes Slab Wild

Wild Bill closed out the Legends Outdoors open water season recently by taking a trip in search of big panfish.  Bill found exactly what he was searching for as this veteran angler used light line and Keitech Baits in his finesse tactics approach.  Once the crappies were located, it was "one after another" for quite some time as Bill set the hook early and often on this November day.  He was on a solo mission as his fishing partner Joe wasn't able to make the voyage, so Bill went it alone and fished in water that ranged from 47-49 degrees and comfortable air temperatures that were around 50 degrees.  Bill hauled in over 70 fish consisting of mostly crappies with a few smallmouth bass mixed in.  Some of the hefty crappies even threatened to break the two pound mark as shown below.  Bill enjoyed the fall air and sights as he seen bald eagles and white tail deer as he was fishing about the lake.  We would like to thank Bill for coming out with Legends Outdoors and look forward to seeing him again soon for his next outdoor adventure.
