With Thanksgiving right around the corner and a few nice days still lingering in November; Ryan and his son Aiden got out one last time for the 2016 open water season. A very chilly and brisk morning, but not a ripple on the water greeted the anglers as they set out for their season finally. They found success early on this day by using light line in the 46 degree water to entice several bites. The sun came out, the temperatures warmed, and a bit of a south wind picked up changing the game, but the father and son team continued to pick away at the cold water fish and wound up with a solid day of several smallmouth bass, crappie, and largemouth bass for the day. A great way to put a cap on the year for Ryan and Aiden and look forward to the upcoming holidays and prepare for next year.
