Matty and his son Bubba were back at it again on Lake Wallenpaupack. This time they were out on the pontoon boat in some ideal conditions for a spring outing. The cloudy day and light winds were setting the stage for what would be a banner day for this father and son duo. With excitement in the air, plenty of stories, and some homemade pizza Matty brought for the trip, this was setting up to be a really good fishing fest. With a pair of techniques they landed two striped bass, some really stout smallmouth bass including a double by the pair and some monster jack perch mixed in. Bubba was all smiles on this outing as shown below as these stripers were his first ever and he now has the taste of how formidable of a quarry they are when hooked.
